Consigli Construction Office Building

Canal 5 Studio was retained to master plan Consigli Construction’s corporate headquarters property in Milford, Massachusetts to accommodate current needs for more space and plan for future growth. A new 17,000 sf, two-story office building is sited adjacent to the Granite Building, a nineteenth century Richardsonian school structure previously disassembled elsewhere in Milford and rebuilt on the site.

The new building incorporates open office work areas with shared meeting spaces to support a collaborative and integrated approach to project management – a hallmark of Consigli’s corporate culture. A central two story, sky-lit atrium serves as a gathering space for large staff events. A hybrid steel and wood structure is enclosed by cementitious rain screen panels that relate in color and pattern to the granite masonry in the adjacent building.
