Westin Event Center

Canal 5 Studio has been commissioned to design The Westin Event Center at Congress Square, a 9,400 s.f. addition to a four star hotel in the heart of Portland’s Arts District. A multi-purpose gathering space, the Event Center will be designed to open directly to an adjacent public urban plaza.

Contemporary in spirit to meet the National Park Service requirements for additions to historic structures, the stone, wood, and glass pavilion is intended to engage and illuminate the public space it adjoins.
